Heavy Duty Telescopic Gates Hardware Kit

This is a complete telescopic sliding gate hardware installation kit with all the parts required for a 4m telescopic sliding gate with Cladding.

Example of Telescopic Sliding Gate Leaf Size Calculation: If the driveway opening is 4000mm, then 2 x 2350mm gates leaf for telescopic gate systems, (2x2000mm + add 350mm on each leaf) The formula for telescopic sliding gate calculation is: Driveway opening size divided into 2 then add 350mm for each leaf.

This kit is suitable for 4m telescopic sliding gates with uneven surfaces for example gates with pickets or colourbond on the face of the gate and regular gates.

What is a Telescopic Gate:

Traditionally a 4m sliding gate requires another 4m of space away from the driveway opening for the gate to slide into.
The telescopic systems will almost halve this space required for the gate to slide into, this is because the telescopic systems enable the second gate to be pulled by the first gate once the first gate starts to move.

Telescopic Sliding Gate Leaf Size Calculation: The formula is: Driveway opening size divided into 2 then add 350mm for each leaf.

Example: if the driveway opening is 4000mm, then 2 x 2.35m gates (2x2000mm + add 350mm on each leaf)

Key Features of Telescopic Gate:

Undermounted below gate (using flat-mount wheels) or face-mounted to the gate (using flat-mount or recess mount wheels)

Telescopic Gate System

Example of an assembled telescopic system as it is installed on the gates.
Floor Track 12 x 1m fully galvanised heavy-duty floor track. This 1m gate track is heavy duty 3mm thick. Please Note: 2m and 3m track sizes are available for pickup.
Wheels 4 x 78mm Recess mounted heavy-duty wheels with dual bearings. The wheels are fitted into the underside of the bottom gate frame, the wheel will raise the gate by approx 27mm from the sliding gate track.
U Guide 1 x 70mm U Guide Gate Keeper. This "U" Guide-stop is suitable for gates up to 70mm thick. The "U" Guide is installed at the closing end of the sliding gate.
Gate Stop 2 x 115mm Gate Stop. Heavy-duty anodised metal with rubber end for the open position.
Sliding Gate Block with "C" Channel 2 x Nylon Block 2 x "C" Channel This Nylon gate block and "C" channel is suitable for gates with uneven surfaces, for example, gates with pickets. The "C" channel is attached to the post, and the nylon block fits into the "C" channel and to the "Z" channel which is mounted to the top of the sliding gate.
"Z" Channel 4 x 1m Aluminium "Z" Section for Sliding Gates. Please Note: 2m and 3m Aluminium "Z" Section sizes are available for pickup. This Aluminium "Z" Section is the ideal choice for gates: - With an incline or decline (not on level ground) - With pickets or cladding on the face of the gate making an uneven surface on the gate - With spears at the top of the gate - With an arched top design
